GESEA CERTIFICATION CERT 1 – CAPE TOWN
The GESEA CERT1 CERTIFICATION will take place at the GESEA Diploma Centre, Surgical Skills Training Centre, Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital, Rondebosch, Cape Town on & Saturday 27th August 2022.
PLEASE NOTE THAT CERT2 MUST have completed the applicable e-learning videos & achieved the GESEA MIGS e-Learning COMPLETION CERTIFICATE prior to being permitted to participate in the GESEA CERTIFICATION.
GESEA CERT1: A copy of the GESEA e-learning COMPLETION Certificate must be sent to clive.vangeems@uct.ac.za by Wednesday 24th August 2022.
It is NOT a requirement to have completed the GESEA Level 2 (MIGS) before attending a GESEA Practical Training Course. To access the GESEA e-learning you can click on the relevant e-learning link. You will have to pay €30 to access the e- learning platform. To compensate for this, the Certification fees have been reduced by R500.
TESTT1 will be written between 13h00 and 14h00 on Saturday 27th AUGUST 2022. TESTT2 is a 50 multiple choice question test based (but not exclusive to) on the e-learning platform.
CERT1 will take place on Saturday MORNING 30th AUGUST 2022 at 08h00.
FEES: R6000 per specialist; R5000 per registrar/medical officers
