Basic and Essential Surgical Skills Training (BESST)

This 3-day course is designed to provide an introduction to safe surgical practice within a controlled workshop environment. The course is aimed at Junior Registrars, Interns, and any other Practitioners. The course covers:

  1. Basic surgical techniques
  2. Trauma and orthopaedics
  3. Minimal access surgery

  1. Intensive hands-on practice of basic skills

  3. Personal feedback on performance, with advice for further practice
