Basic and Essential Surgical Skills Training (BESST)
This 3-day course is designed to provide an introduction to safe surgical practice within a controlled workshop environment. The course is aimed at Junior Registrars, Interns, and any other Practitioners. The course covers:
- Basic surgical techniques
- Trauma and orthopaedics
- Minimal access surgery
Features include:
- Intensive hands-on practice of basic skills
- Individual tuition
- Personal feedback on performance, with advice for further practice

- Certification recognized by The Colleges of Medicine of South Africa
