SASES LAPAROSCOPIC SUTURING MASTER CLASS

Thursday 14^th and Friday 15^th March 2019

 This 2 day Master Class will allow you to learn about and refresh your LAPAROSCOPIC SUTURING PSYCHO MOTOR skills.

There will be a series of PSYCHO MOTOR Skills tests as a warm up – camera navigation, hand eye co-ordination and bi manual co-ordination

Focus on NEEDLE HANDLING/INSERTION AND POSITIONING, SUTURES and DIFFERENT ANGLES.

Focus on KNOTTING – At the end of the course you will have learnt how to be sure that the knots you are tying laparoscopically are as secure as those tied in open surgery.

The course is predominantly focussed on practical training and will be held at the Surgical Skills Training Centre, Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital, Rondebosch, Cape Town.
