ESGE Diploma & Certification The ESGE, in collaboration with the European Academy of Gynaecological Surgery has elaborated a well-balanced diploma curriculum, based on the current best scientific knowledge and accessible for everyone. The full programme is called Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgical Education and Assessment (GESEA) and is based on 5 pillars of competence. The theoretical and practical skills represent 3 of those 5 pillars and are defined in a separate curriculum: +he Academy Certificate Programme. Pillars 4 and 5 refer to the surgical curriculum.
  •  The bachelor level diplomas can be issued by the Academy
  •   Take the +he Academy Skills
  •   Diplomas are presented by the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy
How to obtain the ESGE Bachelor in Endoscopy Certificate and Diploma, level 1 of the GESEA programme? Here are the steps:
  •  Step 1: Get your attestation of successful accomplishment of the Winners Bachelor, e-learning tutorials and quizzes.
  •  Step 2: Get trained in endoscopic psychomotor skills, practicing in dry lab.
  •   Step 3: Get +he Academy Bachelor Certificate at Diploma Centre (Surgical Skills Training Centre) or annual congress or Academy location.
  •   Step 4: provide a self-testimonial of visitation at minimal 30 endoscopic surgeries.
  •   Step 5: Get the relevant CME/CPD points, attendance to the ESGE annual congress or a recognized endoscopic congress.
The unique entry gate to the curriculum is provided by a free of charge tutorial programme called+he Academy Winners Project, e-learning.
Registrar Fee is ZAR 1750 ; Specialist fee is ZAR 3000; Private Specialist fee is R3500 (5 Self Training Sessions). This option will allow you to use the facility 5 times during the following 12 months.
  •   Sessions can only take place when centre is not used for another course.
  •   You will need to book prior to each session (9-12am). Sessions may need to be postponed by the Skills Centre Management.
